Hi, just wanted to send along some pictures and an update of my lovely baby Lana (formerly Wellie) to you for your adoption stories! 
I named her Lana after Lana Turner, my favorite Hollywood glam girl.  
She is doing absolutely great, it took about 15 minutes for her to break out of her shell!  Ever since, she has been very outgoing, sweet, playful, and has been like my little black shadow!  She sleeps with me every night, at my feet.  
I bought a number of wonderful brand new toys for her and of course, she doesn't like any of them!  Her favorite toys are a pom pom that fell of my sock, and a plastic bag (picture included).  
Her favorite thing, by far, is food.  She's not too interested in people food (which is good), but when I get anywhere near the kitchen, I'm barely able to move because the little devil wraps herself around my legs out of excitement!  Her dish barely even hits the floor before she's done.  And, she wakes me up at 6:30 on the dot every morning to make sure I don't forget about her breakfast.  
I have a box turtle (Errol), and she watches him every now and then, but doesn't seem too interested.  She gets along great with my boyfriend  and has completely won him over.  He's never really been around a cat before, and was a little apprehensive, but he loves her so much now he tells me frequently of his plans to steal her from me! 
Lana is a beautiful girl with a great personality, and I couldn't have asked for a better kitty!  I think the two of us are a great match.
I attached some of my favorite pictures I've taken so far, though it's hard to catch her because she rarely stays still and her fur is so dark sometimes it's hard to make out what I took a picture of!  I'll keep in touch!
