I am not sure I want to leave Nancy's back.

I like being held.

I would make a good lap cat.

This is my sad face; please come and adopt me.

Wasn't this a clever move?

This could not be a table; it is too soft.

I don't wish to be weighed in right now.

Hard tables are easier to walk on.

Now this is an interesting view.

I am having a wonderful time.

I am thinking about my next interesting move.

How fascinating!

I like adventures.

More hugs, please.

I am getting very comfortable in back of Nancy's neck.

I have clean ears.

Just looking around.

It is time to leave the nest.

I have double paws, too.

I love the person holding me.

I also have big double paws.

What is that doggie doing in back of me?

I am just a bundle of love.

My handsome profile.

I wanted to show off my clean ears.

I am a little sweetie.

I have very clean ears.

Just hanging out.

Anna's touch makes me very happy.

I am a sweet darling lovebug.

I fit into her lap perfectly.

This is called making Goo-goo eyes.

You can see a lot of the world from a lap.

Just think of me a roll of black velvet.

Ah ha a toy!!

I am falling asleep on Anna's lap.

I like investigating new places.

If you want a lap cat, take me.

I would rather be petted than play with toys.

Okay, I will at least smell it.

This is how to wrap yourself around someone's shoulder.

I am just staring into space.

I like the top of my head petted.

You can carry me around like a sack of potatoes.

Why did you put this toy on top of me.

Brushing is good for my silky coat.

I am doing stretches with my back legs.

I am very relaxed here.
Lady Elgin
Lady Elgin is a 1 year old spayed gray female Persian mix.  She needs to be treated like a Queen as she is very dignified and is looking for quiet relaxed home.  She is very light but looks bigger than she is. My gray looks good on Anna's red shirt.

I am not a pure bred Persian but I have Persian ancestry.

I have a lovely gray coat.

My full coat makes me look bigger than I am.

This is an interesting way to go to sleep.

I am winking at you.

Another good sleeping place.

I prefer sleeping to being a playgirl.

What are those animals?

Look at my cute white mustache.

Good smells.

I fit right into her lap.

I was told to face the camera.
Hyacinth
Hyacinth is an adult spayed Dilute Torti female.  Although she hides at first in any new environment or upon meeting strangers, she is really delightful. Petite Hyacinth is no longer petite.  She now weighs a good 8 pounds. She loves to play with crinkle balls or fake mice; she is very curious and has been known to be a good alarm clock;  Feline leukemia and aids negative; up to date on shots.
An update from the foster mom who is just trying to get her little girl a great home.
She loves to curl up on the couch next to me or on my lap while I pet her. She will even lick your hand if she is cleaning herself. Although she is timid around feet,  she can not get enough attention.
If I am sitting down, she will come over to me, walk across my lap and plop down next to me. She will do the same even if I am lying down. Hyacinth loves to be close to me and will jump up, placing herself under the blanket in order to get a petting.  Every once in a while, I will catch her standing on her back legs swatting at a catnip toy or a fake mouse.
She is also a big purr machine and will go nose to nose to make sure you hear her. Although very vocal, she does not meow, she chirps or trills, instead.
Adoption Information: Procedures, Directions, Cost and Items to Bring with you.

Now, this towel is perfect for showing off my Torti coat.

I have gorgeous eyes.

I do like sleeping on the bed.

I am a very petite, adorable, darling.

Where's my treat?

I guess I am supposed to play with a green mouse.

I like other parts of me petted, too.

Oops, you caught me napping again.

My colors are much prettier than that green mouse.

I am not ready for pictures, yet.

I have a little head to go with my darling petite body.
Sunrise
3 year old spayed brown DSH female Tiger. She may be shy but she is a lover.  You will need to give her time to trust you. Sunrise is very gentle but is not happy about being lifted.  Feline leukemia and aids negative; up to date on shots.
Adoption Information: Procedures, Directions, Cost and Items to Bring with you.

I make a full arm load.

I need my beauty sleep.

That's my face, again.

Getting more comfortable by the minute.

More of my cute face.

You must like my face if you took so many pictures of it.

I am not embarrased about showing you my belly.

Boy, this makes me look fat. Am I?

How come she does not know how to hold a cat?

This could be a good couch.

I have no trouble relaxing.

I could hang out here.

Cute face

This is not a good position.

Get your hair out of my pictures.
Why Adopt A Mature Cat?

An older cat will generally be quieter and more sensible than a kitten or a young cat. Instead of becoming bored and needing to let off steam in your absence, they are more likely to doze while leaving your furnishings intact.

As cats grow older, they are more home-oriented and settled, making them excellent companions. An older cat will be much more appreciative of pampering than a kitten.

An older cat provides calm companionship

If the potential adopter works outside the home or is otherwise frequently away, they will find that an adult cat will adapt to their home much more comfortably than a kitten.

Adult cat's personalities are already formed so you know what you're getting, i.e. lap cat vs. kitten in an adult body. You cannot mold a cat's personality.

Anna, our cat Adoption chairperson, agreed to model with Elmo.  She is the wonderful lady who is reponsible for saving all of our cats.

Please say Hello to Nancy when you come to adopt a cat.  Without her help, I could never have taken all these wonderful pictures of our cats.

At Greenwich Bay Animal Hospital, introduce yourself to Erin.  She is an outstanding Vet. Tech that also helps us with our animals and gives them extra love when she has time.

Meet Heather, also a great Vet. Tech, who is now holding Mr. Love Bug, Millbury. You can see how good she is with our animals.

Hi Tammy,
Thank you for taking such good care of our cats and dogs.  Your kindness and warmth make all our animals feel welcome.

Sam and Oliver
Sam and Oliver
Special Price: $150.00 for both
Sam and Oliver are forever brothers. Sam is a 5 year old Neutered Male Malti/poo. His brother Oliver is a 12 year young, neutered male Shih Tzu/poo. They are both up to date on their vaccines, have tested negative for lyme and heartworm and are on monthly preventative for fleas and ticks.
Because Sam and Oliver's owners were moving out of state, they could not take the boys with them. Sam was turned in one afternoon.  When I asked about Oliver,  the owner stated he was going to be put to sleep that evening because no one would take an older dog.
A few minutes after she left, I called her and asked her to bring Oliver in so we could try and find a home for him. I am so glad I did!  They are both adorable, loving, friendly and happy little guys, as long as they have each other. I had them in separate cages to give them more room but they just cried for each other. They curl up in each other's paws and go to sleep.
They both just had their teeth cleaned so they are pearly white. They are both in great health except Oliver who has a small Cheery eye in his right eye and has dry eye in both eyes. This will require inexpensive medicine applied twice a day, which only takes a few seconds. Simple cleaning of his eyes daily will help keep them clear. Oliver will be grateful for the extra attention he requires.
Both dogs are on a diet because they are more than a few pounds overweight which puts pressure on their little legs. They have lost a couple of pounds so far, but boy do they love their cookies!
They are excellent with children and don't seem to mind cats. They love to sit on your lap,  lick your face and go for a walk.  They are also very playful with each other and love to play with squeeky toys.
Our goal is for both dogs to be adopted together so Oliver can live out his life with his baby brother, Sam. Ollie can have a good 5 years or so left to make you very happy and for you to make him very happy. We are only charging one adoption fee of $150.00 for both dogs.
Please give Oliver a chance at continued life with his brother, you will not regret it.  EGAPL will donate the first month's supply of Oliver's eye medication.  Lyme vaccine and microchipping will be done this week and they will be able to go to their forever home, hopefully together. Please come see these loving young boys.
